Aromas del Campo began in Valencia in 1986, initially producing potpourris and aromatic compositions from dried flowers. Its transition into lighting came through small glass table lamps filled with these botanical arrangements. What began as a decorative extension of the original business gradually became its main direction, leading the company to establish its production and international distribution centre in Bétera, near Valencia.
Today, Aromas del Campo is known for lighting that combines simple forms with a rich and often unexpected material palette. Metal and glass remain central to the collection, joined by marble, alabaster, ceramic, wood, travertine and, more recently, parchment and pleated paper. These materials are not used as decorative additions alone. Their weight, translucency, texture and natural variation determine how each lamp filters, reflects or directs light.
The catalogue covers table and floor lamps, wall lights, pendants and an expanding architectural collection. Compact fittings sit alongside large suspended compositions designed for dining areas, stairwells, reception spaces and rooms with generous ceiling heights. Many designs are developed as complete families, allowing the same visual language to continue through different typologies and scales.
Aromas offers considerable freedom in the way its products are configured. Metal components are available in finishes ranging from matt black and white to aged gold, polished gold, chrome and satin nickel. These can be combined with coloured glass, hand-painted ceramic, alabaster or several varieties of marble. Selected models are produced in multiple diameters, while others can be adapted through interchangeable discs, shades and accessories. This system of finishes and components gives designers room to create individual combinations without moving into fully bespoke production.
The lighting itself is warm and atmospheric, with 2700K frequently used throughout the collection. Integrated LEDs, dimmable systems and touch controls appear alongside replaceable light sources, depending on the character and scale of each product. Portable rechargeable lamps extend the range into more flexible residential and hospitality settings.
Recent collections have broadened the brand beyond decorative lighting. Architectural spotlights, recessed fittings and more technical solutions introduce precise beams and discreet formats while retaining the materials associated with Aromas, including alabaster, marble and aged metal. The result is a portfolio that can move from a sculptural pendant or tactile table lamp to quieter elements integrated into the architecture.
