Founded in 1987 in the Veneto region, Ideagroup has built its identity around bathroom furniture conceived with the care and versatility usually associated with the wider interior. Rather than offering a limited selection of vanity units, the company develops complete compositions in which storage, washbasins, countertops, mirrors and lighting are designed as parts of the same architectural arrangement.
The breadth of the furniture collection is one of Ideagroup’s strongest qualities. Wall-mounted base units, tall cabinets, mirror cabinets, open elements and integrated shelving can be combined in compact configurations or extended across generous walls. Different widths, depths and volumes allow the furniture to respond to narrow bathrooms, guest spaces, family bathrooms and large master suites without losing visual coherence.
The group brings together several complementary design directions. Idea offers versatile furniture and coordinated laundry solutions, Aqua explores more architectural compositions and refined materials, while Blob concentrates on compact bathrooms and spaces where storage must be carefully organised. This variety allows Ideagroup to move naturally between understated contemporary interiors, richer material compositions and more decorative settings.
Materials give each collection its individual character. Natural wood veneers introduce warmth and visible grain, while matte, gloss, textured and soft-touch lacquers create a broad chromatic palette. Wood-effect HPL, Fenix NTM and other technical finishes offer a more practical alternative for frequently used bathrooms. These surfaces are combined with aluminium, stoneware, marble and solid-surface materials to create furniture with greater depth and contrast.
Countertops and washbasins are treated as an integral part of the composition. Integrated, countertop, semi-recessed, vessel and freestanding models are available in ceramic, stoneware, marble, Corian®, Mineralux and Mineralsolid. This variety makes it possible to choose between a continuous, almost monolithic surface and a more expressive basin that becomes the visual focus of the room.
The design of the furniture is resolved through carefully controlled details. Handleless fronts, recessed grips, slim aluminium frames and 45-degree edges create precise, uninterrupted volumes. Other collections introduce framed doors, stronger profiles and warmer finishes, allowing Ideagroup to address interiors that are not strictly minimalist. Mirrors, lighting and accessories continue the proportions and finishes of the cabinetry rather than appearing as later additions.
The same furniture expertise extends into the laundry area. Tall storage, utility basins and modules developed around washing machines and household equipment bring visual order to spaces that are often treated as purely functional. Bathroom and laundry furniture can therefore follow a consistent material and chromatic language throughout the home.
Through Disenia, the portfolio is completed by shower enclosures, trays, bathtubs, electric radiators and wellness solutions. These elements broaden the project without shifting attention away from Ideagroup’s central strength: well-made, highly configurable bathroom furniture with an extensive choice of forms, materials and finishes.
Ideagroup offers designers the freedom to compose the bathroom much like any other furnished interior. Its collections combine practical storage with refined cabinetry, allowing furniture to define the character of the room rather than simply occupy the space beneath the washbasin.
