Founded in 2000 and based in Bacău, REDO has developed one of Romania’s most extensive lighting portfolios, with more than 4,000 products for residential, hospitality and commercial projects. Its catalogue covers decorative, functional and exterior lighting, allowing designers to address several layers of a project through a coherent selection of products.

Interior lighting forms the most expressive part of the REDO portfolio. The collection includes chandeliers, single and multiple pendants, ceiling lights, wall lamps, floor lamps and table lamps, ranging from compact pieces to large suspended compositions for dining areas, staircases, double-height spaces and hotel lobbies.

Many designs are developed as coordinated families, with pendant, ceiling, wall, floor and table versions. This allows the same visual language to continue through a residential interior or across the different areas of a restaurant, hotel or commercial space. Compact lamps can introduce atmosphere at bedside or lounge level, while larger pieces can define reception areas, dining rooms and other important architectural volumes.

The material palette includes metal, aluminium, glass, acrylic, textile and opal silicone. Matte finishes, warm metallic surfaces, coloured elements and translucent diffusers support different types of interior, from restrained contemporary schemes to more decorative compositions. Integrated LED sources allow REDO to work with fine profiles, continuous lines and illuminated geometries, while models with replaceable lamps offer greater freedom in selecting the light source and colour temperature.

The decorative collection is supported by recessed and surface-mounted downlights, track lighting, spotlights and linear profiles. These products provide ambient, accent and task lighting around the more visible luminaires, making it possible to illuminate circulation routes, work surfaces, displays, artwork and architectural details without introducing unnecessary visual elements.

Selected REDO products can be controlled through the REDO SMART application using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Individual luminaires or groups can be switched, dimmed and programmed, while compatible models also allow colour-temperature adjustment and personalised lighting scenes. Voice control is available through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

The outdoor portfolio is structured around the different areas that need to be illuminated around a building. Wall-mounted fittings and directional projectors define façades, entrances and architectural details. Bollards and low-level lights guide pedestrian routes, driveways and garden paths, while recessed ground fixtures can highlight vegetation, walls and vertical surfaces. Ceiling and pendant models extend the lighting concept to covered terraces, entrance canopies and exterior dining areas.

These solutions can be used around private homes, apartment developments and landscaped gardens, as well as hotels, restaurants, office buildings, retail destinations and other business environments. The range includes concrete, aluminium, anti-corrosion-treated aluminium and brass products, with selected solutions developed for areas exposed to humidity, salt and demanding weather conditions.
