GLAMORA

Wallcoverings shaped through art, material and architectural research
Founded in 2010, Glamora approaches wallcovering as an architectural surface rather than a decorative layer applied at the end of a project. Art, photography, literature, nature and travel inform its visual language, while each composition is developed in close relation to the material on which it will be produced.
This connection between image and surface is one of the brand’s defining strengths. Rather than printing every design on a standard wallpaper, Glamora develops individual collections around specific materials, selected for their texture, luminosity and tactile qualities. European linen, handwoven abacá fibres, cork, viscose textiles and mineral finishes give the graphics a physical presence that changes with light and viewing distance.
The Tramae Collection offers one of the clearest expressions of this research. Inspired by the sand-casting technique developed by Italian artist Costantino Nivola, it is produced on GlamOrigin, a material composed primarily of monocrystalline quartz sand. Its irregular, three-dimensional surface recalls sculpted plaster or artisan-moulded concrete, allowing the wallcovering to behave more like a mineral architectural finish than a conventional printed paper.
Other materials extend the range in very different directions. GlamPure, made from European linen and viscose, provides a breathable, compostable surface with natural insulating and thermoregulatory qualities. GlamSatin combines viscose with mineral powder to create a subtle pearlescent reflection, while GlamCanvas brings the texture and visual depth of an artist’s canvas to walls exposed to regular use. Cork and natural fibres introduce further variations in relief, warmth and tactility.
Glamora also develops solutions for spaces in which standard wallpaper would not normally be used. The waterproof GlamFusion Plus system allows decorative surfaces to continue into showers, bathrooms and wellness areas, while acoustic and highly resistant materials extend their use to hospitality, commercial and public interiors.
Every wallcovering is produced to suit the dimensions of the project. Through its bespoke service, Glamora can adjust the scale, position and colour of catalogue designs, modify compositions or develop entirely new graphics from a specific architectural brief. This ensures that important elements remain correctly placed around doors, furniture, corners and changes in ceiling height.
The result is a collection conceived not simply as a library of patterns, but as a range of architectural surfaces in which image, texture and material are designed together. From wallcoverings made with quartz sand to linen, cork and waterproof finishes, Glamora gives designers the freedom to introduce visual depth without separating decoration from the material character of the interior.
